CRT vs Christianity Debate

This debate involved my criticism of CRT (critical race theory) which is an important component of modern woke ideology, an irrational and toxic philosophy which I attack as much as possible (see my blog).

Rev Dr Jacqui Lewis. If critical race theory threatens your Christianity, you may be worshipping whiteness. Ohhh... I felt that in my spirit.

Me CRT is BS, fundamentalist Christianity is also BS. Not sure which is worse.

Me Why is CRT BS?

Me It's based on an extreme philosophical belief system (an evolution of postmodernism) and has no basis in fact.

Opponent How so?

Me Do some research on the origins of the woke political agenda. You'll see where it comes from.

Me There's a book which you might find interesting: Cynical Theories: How Activist Scholarship Made Everything About Race, Gender, and Identity - and Why This Harms Everybody.

Opponent Ah you're an anti woke snoozer. Pass.

Well, obviously I am anti-woke and this person appears to be pro-woke. Isn't that an ideal setup for a debate on the merits of the two positions? Apparently not, because silencing opposing opinions is a major tactic used by the woke mob.

Me Not prepared to debate it?

Opponent Nope, you can't teach stupid.

I haven't even really revealed my detailed thoughts at this point, so dismissing me as "stupid" seems a bit premature (although that's not even what she said, I think it's what she meant).

Me Well, you would never know since you refuse to listen to other perspectives.

Opponent Perspectives are fine, blatant bigotry isn't.

Another standard tactic of the woke mob: if you have no good way to debate someone, just call them bigoted or sexist or some other insult. After all, you shouldn't need to debate anyone like that, should you?

Supporter Just keep in mind the ignorant are always the one accusing those who they know are right to be ignorant. And since you refuse to do actual research and keep accusing an opposing argument as ignorant, it is clear you're the ignorant one.

Another person jumped in here, on my side, which was good in this case, although sometimes they are more trouble than help.

Me I agree, I disagree with blatant bigotry. So why won't you listen to other perspectives?

Bigotry: obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. (Oxford English Dictionary) Seems to fit my opponent perfectly. It's called psychological projection: denying your own deficiencies by projecting them onto others.
