100 Meters Backstroke

Nicole (lane 4) finishes her heat of the 100 meters backstroke final. She easily won this heat and that was good enough to give her third place overall, so she won the bronze medal! Pictures of the medal are on the next page.

Her qualifying time was 2:06.30 and again she improved this to 1:52.02 - backstroke is usually her best stroke.
