Here's a close-up of Nicole swimming in the 50 meters backstroke. This is the first swim meet where I used my nice new digital SLR camera to take the photos. Because of this I managed to get these cool close-up photos by using a telephoto lens at an effective focal length of about 500 mm and getting good close-ups from about 10 meters away.
