Yes, It Was Cold!

There's snow even in the valleys. An occupational hazard of being an amateur astronomer is getting cold - at least when you live in a temperate climate like New Zealand's. Some areas are much more suitable - I have heard some stories about how pleasant astronomy is from Hawaii (as well as having some of the best observing in the world).
