Observed Mir (satellite).
Observed Mir, attempted observing 2 orbits.
07.07.55 First seen near Alpha Crucis.
Moved from Sw to NE passing almost overhead.
Quite brighter (approx -1 to -2) and pale yellow.
07.11.01 gradually faded and disappeared at approx altitude 20°.
08.38 Looked for second orbit.
Not seen, gave up at 08.51.
Not seen, cloud had covered approx 70% of sky by then.
