Used 36cm Newtonian.
Observing session from Mt Allan Road.
Sky dark, moderately steady. Using 14 inch:
NGC2070 best gn, amazing detail in 13mm Nagler on 14 inch.
47 Tuc superb sparse outer stars beyond edge of field.
M57 low even at culmination, but ring & central star visible.
M20 both reflective and embedded nebula visible.
M8 large area in addition to normal, some detail visible. Best view of this.
NGC4945 (eg), NGC5128 (eg) some detail averted vision.
Overall: SUPERB VIEWING!
