Our first stop in Australia was Melbourne, where we spent a couple of days. This is a view from a lookout in the Dandenong Hills. You can see the central part of the city in the distance in this photo, with the suburbs spread out around it.
The weather was quite cool while we were there so we didn't feel too much of a change travelling from winter in New Zealand.
