Uluru

On the second day in Yulara we planned to view Uluru but we were a bit worried about overnight rain. Always the optimists we turned up at dawn to see the sunrise but cloud meant it didn't really happen. Later in the day we went back to do the walk around the rock.

This is the climb to the top which we didn't do for two reasons: first, the Aboriginal owners prefer you don't, and second it was closed because of wind. The fact that tourists die from heat exhaustion and heart attacks doing this was irrelevant!
