The Beach at Paihia

This is Taiputuputu Pahi Beach at Paihia, just along the street from our motel. The land on the right is near Russell, which is a small town just across the bay that we visited the next day. On the coast in the other direction is Waitangi, and the Bay of Islands extends out to the sea directly in front.
