Aurora Nov 2024

I took this photo of a rather impressive aurora at 23:46 on 11 November 2024. It was a very active display, with activity right up to, and over the zenith. From my observing site (in a suburb of Dunedin) the street lights spoiled the effect a bit, but the photo displayed the colour much better. This was a handheld photo using an iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is a 1 second exposure at f/1.78.
