Deep Stream (5)

Deep Stream is 31 kilometers from the track start and 95 meters above sea level. The track starts to get steeper and the scenery more spectacular from here on. This photo shows how steep and rugged the hills are in this area. The willows are an introduced species which line many waterways in New Zealand.
