I tasted the 2012 vintage of this wine on 24 Jul 2015 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was deep ruby red. The bouquet had spicy berry fruit. There was smooth plum and berry fruit, some savory character, and a woody dry tannic finish. This was quite complex, with strong flavours, and intense vanilla oak tannins.
I tasted the 2013 vintage of this wine on 14 May 2016 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was deep purple ruby red. The bouquet showed full plum and berry fruit, and light chocolate. The flavour had smooth plum fruit, light spiciness, and a medium dry tannic savory finish. This was quite full flavored with nicely balanced fruit and wood.
