I tasted the 2012 vintage of this wine on 16 Jul 2016 when it was 4 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was medium-deep ruby red. The bouquet had medium dark cherry and light vanilla wood. There was soft cherry fruit, and a light woody tannic and pepper finish. This wine had smooth fruit, and earthy and woody flavours, and was fairly complex.
I tasted the 2018 vintage of this wine on 26 Mar 2024 when it was 6 years old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was medium ruby, slightly brownish. The bouquet had fairly strong dark cherry, and light spice. There was cherry fruit, some earthy character, and a medium dry oak finish. This wine was nicely aged, with well integrated flavours.

Note 1: I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot of this particular wine, on my recommendation, and then regret it!
Note 2: You may not fully agree with my evaluation of these wines, as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic and varietal flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
