I tasted the 2004 vintage of this wine on 23 Sep 2005 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok+.
This wine showed a bright medium straw gold colour. There was a strong citrus gooseberry fruit bouquet. The taste showed grassy gooseberry and lemon-lime fruit, and tghere was a crisp finish. This ine had intense zingy flavours, and was a very crisp clean style.
I tasted the 2021 vintage of this wine on 09 Jul 2022 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was medium clear greenish gold. The bouquet had tropical and stone fruit, and light citrus acid. There was full tropical fruit and passionfruit, and a dry stalky finish. This wine had full fruit with a crisp finish.
Note 1: I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot of this particular wine, on my recommendation, and then regret it!
Note 2: You may not fully agree with my evaluation of these wines, as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic and varietal flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
