I tasted the 2015 vintage of this wine on 27 Apr 2016 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok.
This wine was clear with a pale yellow gold colour. There was a sharp tropical and citrus fruit bouquet. The flavour had strong citrus and passionfruit, with a long dry acid finish. This wine was clean, with crisp citrus flavours.
I tasted the 2015 vintage of this wine on 23 Oct 2015 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was pale clear gold. There was a strong typical fruit, capsicum and crisp acid bouquet. The taste had passionfruit and tropical fruit, and a long crisp mineral acid finish. This wie had intense varietal characters, and was very clean and crisp. Won gold in NZ international wine show.
I tasted the 2015 vintage of this wine on 23 Jun 2016 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of good.
The colour was pale clear straw gold. The bouquet had strong fruity tropical and peach, crisp clean capsicum, grass, and gooseberry. There was tropical and intense peach fruit, capsicum and stalky flavours, and a long crisp dry, citric acid finish. This wine was very crisp and clean, with complex fruit balance.
I tasted the 2019 vintage of this wine on 03 Jul 2020 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was clear pale straw gold. The bouquet had citrus and tropical fruit. There was grassy citrus fruit, and a long dry acidic finish. This wine was a clean crisp style with moderate varietal fruit.
I tasted the 2020 vintage of this wine on 29 Dec 2020 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was pale clear straw gold. The bouquet was crisp and clean, with tropical and stone fruit. There was full fruit start, light crisp capsicum, and a long dry citric finish. This wine was a very clean style, with full fruit and acid, and was good value.
