Aurora and Deep Sky
Observed aurora, M30 M75 M71 eg5128, using 7x50 binoculars.
Deep sky:
M30 8.4m globular in Cap, M75 8m globular in Sgr.
M71 Sge 8.2m was difficult in binoculars.
NGC5128 galaxy found with av.
Auroral activity:
09:45 faint glow covering 100° in S.
10:00 5 rays slightly W of S.
10:05 4 bright rays SE, about 2x brightness of Milky Way. S glow light green.
10:10 arc alt 35° bright rayed arc moving west.
10:17 formed double ray & faded.
10:25 rays disappeared.
10:30 9 rays in W alt 40° glow in S brighter & arced.
10:35 arcs patches, curtains. S glow 2x as bright.
10:50 only pale surfaces & S glow.
11:30 no activity seen.
