Please Let It Be Over!

Well the US presidential election is on and isn't it fun! I've never seen so much disinformation and propaganda spread about in my life. Is it just Americans who accept so much crap from their leaders? I can't imagine a New Zealand politician surviving long by constantly regurgitating the mindless rhetoric we are hearing from both Bush and Kerry.

I've been involved with a lot of discussions with different people all over the world, via the Internet, and there aren't a lot of people out there making decisions based on the facts. Instead, they seem to decide who they want to vote for, then look for reasons to believe it. I suppose that's just human nature. By the way, I don't do it. I think I've voted for a different party in almost every election I've voted in!

Hopefully in a few more hours it will be over. Or maybe it won't. Maybe that's when the fiasco will start and the lawyers will take over. Obviously, I would prefer Kerry to win but at least things will be interesting if Bush wins - not good, just interesting.
