Turn of All Word Autocorrect

By default, Microsoft Word has a lot of automated typing and formatting options switched on. For example, if you type a few dashes, then press return, Word will convert it to a solid line across the page, or typing "teh" will auto-correct to "the".

To turn off all of these features, follow these steps...

Launch Microsoft Word, or bring it to the front if it's already running.
Go to the “Word” menu, then “Preferences”.
Click “AutoCorrect”.
Turn OFF “Automatically correct spelling and formatting as you type”.
