Set the Current Date from Terminal

In the terminal app, type this: date MMddhhmmyyyy

Where MM is month, dd day number, hh is hours in 24 hour format, mm is minutes, and yyyy is the year. Note the unusual order of these numbers!

For example, for 12 Jan 2022 at 11:30, type "date 011211302022" (without the quotes)

Note: The Terminal app is in the Utilities folder, which is in the Applications folder, alternatively go to the Finder (desktop) app, and choose "Utilities" from the "Go" menu.
