Music: Listen to the 1812 OvertureUse the controller below to listen to about a minute from the climactic final section of the 1812 Overture. Tchaikovsky must have had fun writing this - its just so over the top! Unfortunately, he never got to hear it in all its glory with orchestra, church bells, and cannons. Don't forget to buy the CD and listen to the cannons nice and loud. I once heard this played live with real cannons - awesome! This has been highly compressed using MPEG4 so you will need QuickTime installed to listen to it. To make loading faster I have reduced the bit rate so the quality won't be as good as a high bitrate MP3.
