Mount John Telescope

These photos show the main (1 meter) telescope at Mt John from outside the dome and the 'scope itself on the inside. This is a very nice telescope - good optically and easy to use, even for amateurs like me! The sky at Mt John is fairly good, at least for New Zealand where we don't have any genuinely great observing sites.
