More Photos of This Area (Up to OJB's Central Otago Photos Page) Reflections in Lake DunstanLake Dunstan is a lake created by the Clyde dam and stretches for many kilometers along the road from Clyde to Cromwell, then part way to Wanaka. This picture was taken near the north end of the lake on the Cromwell-Wanaka road. I have only ever seen the lake this still once. The reflections are almost perfect, so apart from being a bit darker its hard to tell sky from lake. I deliberately cropped the photo to make the horizon half way up (normally not a good thing to do) to heighten this effect. Comment on this photo: Magnificent • Nice • Average or: View Results |
