Taieri George Strong Smooth Spicy Ale

The colour was quite deep amber brown with a moderate brownish head. There was a spicy medium dry aroma. The taste showed quite full body, and fairly malty aniseed spiciness. This beer had a light crisp finish, and an unusual flavour. this was not a style I like much. Alcohol content is 6.8%

Note 1 I am not really a beer expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these beers. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it!

Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these beers as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on freshness and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
