(Up to OJB's Galbraiths Page) Special Edition New AmericanTasted: | 24 Mar 2016 | Name: | Special Edition New American (528) | Type: | Pale Ale | Producer: | Galbraiths | Region: | Auckland | Rating: | ok | Web Site: | Not available | | The colour was medium amber gold, with strong carbonation, and a long frothy head. The aroma had a crisp clean malty aroma. There was smooth malt start, and a light dry crisp finish with light bitterness. This beer had quite crisp clean flavours but was a bit light. |
Note 1 I am not really a beer expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these beers. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it! Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these beers as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on freshness and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
