(Up to OJB's Styles Page) Grant Burge Shiraz 2017Tasted: | 04 Jun 2019 (age 2 years) | Name: | Barossa Shiraz (1067) | Variety: | Shiraz (17) | Year: | 2017 | Producer: | Grant Burge | Region: | South Australia | Rating: | ok+ | Web Site: | Not available | | The colour was medium-deep ruby red, with strong legs. The bouquet had jammy berry fruit, and light vanilla. There was full berry spicy fruit, and a medium dry vanilla oak finish. This wine was a quite nicely balanced style, with medium-full body. |
Note 1 I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it! Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these wines as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities. ![[Up]](../XuShared/Up2B.jpeg)
