The bouquet showed mint and vanilla, and berry fruit. The flavour had soft berry fruit, licorice spice and vanilla, and a long dry oak finish. This wine was nicely balanced, with good intense flavours, and medium body. Wine makers description: A blend of fruit from traditional South Australian vineyards, Shiraz was selected for its concentration of flavour, rich yet elegant structure and long balanced tannins. Aromas of blackberries, mulberries and dark chocolate dominate the nose with hints of liquorice and spicy oak adding complexity and layered flavours. |
