Comet Hale-Bopp

Title:Comet Hale-Bopp
 
Used 7x50 binoculars.
Located Hale-Bopp approx 5 degrees from horizon from Mornington.
Distinct star-like nucleus.
Possible elongation of coma along axis slightly north of zenith.
Tail approximately 1 degree, but uncertain (using averted vision).
Clear, calm conditions.
