Make a Keyboard Shortcut for Opening an App with Shortcuts
The Shortcuts app allows you to easily create a keyboard shortcut for launching any app on a Mac:
Open the Shortcuts app. Go to the File menu and choose "New Shortcut". Double-click on "Open App" from the list on the right. Click on the "App" text to see the popup menu of applications. Choose the required app from the list Create a keyboard shortcut for this app. Click on the settings button from the right of the menu options. Under Details tab, click to use "Use as Quick Action". Click on "Add Keyboard Shortcut" and press the keys (including modifiers) to use. Give the Shortcut a name like "Open App". Quit Shortcuts, and use the shortcut key you assigned above
