Jet Boat 1

The bridge near the start of our jet boat trip. This starts on the Kawarau River and then joins up with the Shotover. The river is quite deep and is a good place for spectacular turns. The boat only needs 3 or 4 cm of water when running at speed but requires 1 to 2 meters to get started. Its quite important to make sure that its only stopped in deeper water beacause at over 4 tons it would take a lot of pushing to get to deep water again!
