Glendhu Bay View

A walk up the hill from the Glendhu Bay area provides this magnificent view of the south end of Lake Wanaka. The Wanaka township is behind the hills on the right of this picture.

This picture was taken on a very pleasant day when the blue of the sky and the gold of the tussock seemed even more intense than usual. The air is very clear up here so even the hills in the distance maintain their colour.
