The weather in Christchurch, New Zealand, where the flight to the US departed from, was quite bad, and after boarding the aircraft the flight was postponed until the next day. That meant I missed the first day in California, including a day trip we had organised to go to a vineyard. Disappoint, but them's the breaks!
