Millennium Sunrise (6)

This is St Kilda Beach on the morning of 1 Jan 2000, the so-called dawning of a new millennium. I know it wasn't really, but it is a nice sunrise, with plenty of colour. Because of the details of time zones and geographical position (which I won't elaborate on here) Dunedin is one of the first cities in the world to see the sunrise of a new day, second by a few minutes to another New Zealand city which is a bit further east.
