This is a coffee stop at the gardens in Ashburton. The weather was quite pleasant on the way up to Christchurch on the first day, so sitting under this shady tree was a good idea.
We encountered some more variable weather between Christchurch and Nelson, including some really strong wind in central Canterbury, and even the weather in Nelson was a bit unsettled.
