I tasted the 2019 vintage of this wine on 11 Dec 2021 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was medium bright ruby red. The bouquet had quite sweet dark cherry, and light spice. There was cherry fruit, peppery spice, and a soft tannic finish. This wine had medium body, full fruit, and soft tannins.
I tasted the 2019 vintage of this wine on 16 Dec 2021 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was quite deep red, and fairly opaque. The bouquet had strong dark cherry, and light earthy wood. There was full cherry fruit, light spice, and a smooth light dry wood finish. This wine had medium body, and smooth fruit, with light oak balance.
I tasted the 2021 vintage of this wine on 29 Jun 2023 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was medium ruby red. There was a fruity cherry, and light wood bouquet. There was cherry fruit, some herb and spice flavours, and light tannins. This wine had medium body, and was fairly fruity, with smooth tannins.
I tasted the 2018 vintage of this wine on 19 Nov 2020 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The color was deep ruby red. The bouquet had full cherry fruit, and light spicy oak. There was black cherry fruit, light earthy flavours, and a smooth dry oak finish. This wine had nicely balanced smooth flavours, and medium complexity.
I tasted the 2022 vintage of this wine on 12 Mar 2025 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was medium ruby red, moderate legs. The bouquet had strong spice and cherry fruit. There was dark cherry fruit, herb flavours, and a medium dry woody finish. This wine had medium body, and was quite fruity with moderate complexity.
