I tasted the 2014 vintage of this wine on 04 Nov 2015 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok+.
There was a fairly clear deep ruby red colour. The bouquet had strong cherry and spice. The flavour showed full dark cherry fruit, with a long dry oak finish. This was a smooth, nicely balanced style.
I tasted the 2021 vintage of this wine on 13 Aug 2022 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was medium deep ruby red. The bouquet showed quite sweet dark cherry. There was cherry fruit, light spice, and a soft vanilla tannic finish. This was a fairly simple fruity style.
I tasted the 2022 vintage of this wine on 11 Jun 2023 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was medium clear deep red. The bouquet had smooth cherry, herbs and spice. There was dark cherry fruit, and a medium dry light wood finish. This wine had lighter body, and was quite dry with moderate fruit.
