I tasted the 2020 vintage of this wine on 10 Jul 2022 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was light-medium clear gold yellow. The bouquet had light sweet peach and apple, and light citrus. There was quite sweet fruity peach, and a light acid finish. This wine was a quite fruity fairly simple style, and was lacking varietal character.
I tasted the 2023 vintage of this wine on 22 Jan 2024 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was clear bright straw gold. The bouquet had crisp citrus and gooseberry. There was full gooseberry, grassy fruit, light herb and stalky flavours, and a long crisp acid finish. The wine had quite intense and complex flavours, and was fruity with strong crispness.
