XWorld 2011, 11

Photography is all about "capturing the light" so it makes sense to try photos of a subject with the light source (usually the Sun) at different positions. In this one the Sun was setting behind the bridge and I managed to find a spot where it was shining right through an arch in the pier. The low Sun also gives the sky interesting colours from yellows near the horizon to contrasting blues further up.
